India’s first 24X7 super specialty hospital for pets comes up in Kerala

KOCHI - India’s fiorst super specialty 24X7 pet hospital has come up in Kochi.

In line with international standards, the super specialty pet clinic serves not just highly valued customers, but also unwanted and abandoned stray pets for free.

“This venture is a concept by some voluntarily working vets for the new urban and fast developing Kochi, which badly required a hospital like this,” said Dr. Giggin T., Director Veterinary Services of the Cochin Pet Hospital.

“The idea came after wandering for the last five years in this field, when Kochi a fast emerging metro in the country needed a sophisticated multi speciality hospital for pets where people are ready to go any extent for their loved pets, but still no such services are available,” he added.

The facilities include a regular veterinary clinic, a sophisticated diagnostic lab, a full fledged pharmacy, an on-call ambulance service, on-request house visits, insurance service, door-step delivery of feed, breeding service, management advisory, an interactive online and phone line for all these services which will be established in a phased manner.

The area is fully air-conditioned and a furnished 2500 sq.ft floor with car parking and wi-fi Internet facility for customers.

The hospital has state of the art techniques and equipments.

The pet hospital claims to have India’s first ventilator controlled anesthesia machine.

The facility has been set up for rupees one crore.

A team of trained veterinary experts is also on call for the pets.
