Take your dog as you fly but no snakes please, says Frontier Airlines

DENVER - Frontier Airlines, the No. 2 airline at Denver International Airport, is allowing its passengers to carry pets into planes for a fee with the exception of snakes.
Pets allowed on board include small dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and small household birds.
Insects, spiders, amphibians and snakes are strictly not allowed.
Pets weighing more than 20 pounds are allowed into the carrier’s cabins for 150dollars.
Frontier once allowed pets on the plane but discontinued the policy in 2008.
However, the policy was reversed earlier this week.
“We received a lot of feedback on our pet policy and determined that pets would be a welcome addition to the Frontier travel experience,” the Denver Post quoted Ian Arthur, vice president of marketing and branding at Frontier, as saying.
Frontier’s cost of cabin pets is 75dollars each way.
Frontier spokeswoman Lindsey Purves said: “We’re not looking at this as a big revenue generator.
“We wanted to do this as a service to our customers.” (ANI)
