NEW YORK - A woman has got the most tickets for animal noise violations as her two miniature dachshunds’ barks have made their neighbours in a swanky upper East Side co-op howling mad.
Elizabeth and Emily, yapped so much that the city issued two animal noise violations to their owner, Ruth O’Sullivan - the most issued to anyone in New York City over the last year, records show.
After warning O’Sullivan about the noise, the city’s Department of Environmental Protection hit her with a 70 dollars violation on Nov 17.
She was slapped with another noise violation, for 175 dollars, on Jan. 14, records show.
O’Sullivan didn’t comment, but her ex-husband, Larry Genovese, defended his ex-wife and the dachshunds.
“It was ridiculous,” the New York Daily News quoted Genovese as saying.
“She didn’t deserve what she was put through,” added Genovese. (ANI)
